ANOTHER GREAT SUMMER WITH THE STUDENTS FROM THE CHILDRENS HOME OF READING!!!!!!!!!
Building Character in Today's Youth
- When taking part in our equine-assisted morning group or character education camp program or you will be presented with fun outdoor interaction with our horses.
- Our programs aren't about riding or horsemanship.
- Through hands-on groundwork guided activities, facilitated by our therapists, equine specialist and horses, the horses will become Mirrors and Catalysts for self discovery.
WHO ARE OUR GROUP SESSIONS FOR?????
This Session is for youth who are struggling wtih family, social groups & education environments. Our objective is to help youth build self-confidence, self control and respect for themselves and others. Facilitated by Certified Public School Educators and Equine Specialists.
DATES - June 17, 24, 30 July 1, 8, 15, - 2010
TUES or WEDNESDAY MORNINGS
TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY SESSIONS ARE FULL
This group will work with the COWBOY POETRY Character Education Curriculum and will be facilitated by two Public School Educators.
DATES - June 22, 29, July 6, 13, 20, 27 - 2010
Each Camp session will include the following:
- Discussion of the word of the day - Respect, Honesty, Self Control, Trust, Relationships, Self Confidence, Goals, Sportsmanship
- Activities with the horses to help reinforce the word of the day
- Crafts
- Sharing feelings about what they learned in each session and how they can use what they have learned in their everyday lives.

THE CAMP STAFF IS WILLING TO WORK WITH PARENTS TO LEARN WHAT EACH INDIVIDUAL CHILD"S NEEDS ARE SO THAT THEY WILL SEE IMPROVEMENT IN THAT AREA.
THE CAMP IS STAFFED BY TWO PUBLIC SCHOOL EDUCATORS USING STANDARDS BASED CURRICULUMS
