ANOTHER GREAT SUMMER WITH THE STUDENTS FROM THE CHILDRENS HOME OF READING!
WHO ARE OUR GROUP SESSIONS FOR?????
Youth who are struggling wtih family, social groups & education environments. Our objective is to help youth build self-confidence, self control and respect for themselves and others. Facilitated by Licensed Professional Counselors, Certified Public School Educators and Equine Specialists.
Hands on activities with horses help to focus those diagnosed with ADHD.
Groups are formed based on the need of those calling.
Anger Management
At Risk Youth
Bullying
Bereavement
ADHD
Each Camp session will include the following:
- Discussion of the word of the day - Respect, Honesty, Self Control, Trust, Relationships, Self Confidence, Goals, Sportsmanship
- Activities with the horses to help reinforce the word of the day
- Crafts
- Sharing feelings about what they learned in each session and how they can use what they have learned in their everyday lives.
